Today is my birthday. I am now 54 years old.
It is also the first day of 2024.
There have been a lot of changes in the past year.
A lot of things have also stayed more or less the same.
A few things worth noting (just for the record):
- I have COVID. This is the first time I’ve had it. It is slowing down though, so I will probably test negative tomorrow or the next day.
- My auto-immune joint inflammation is flaring up, but I’m working on it. I have thoughts about this but I’ll see if I feel up to writing about it another time.
- My mom is visiting us in Tulsa for a few weeks. I’ll take her back to the Bay Area on Saturday.
- Oh, right. We live in Tulsa, Oklahoma now. Since October 1st.
- Less is still more.

I moved this blog over to my personal URL, markcmoran.com. Just trying to consolidate things. This site is where I’ll also house my professional work portfolio (if/when I ever get around to posting it up).
Note to self/whomever: Full-site editing is such a pain. What were they thinking?
